The younger generation has nothing to fear. Too many people in china. Isn't the Chinese government trying to control over population in their own country bye killing off their own race. Alot of conspiracy theories going on in 2020.

I think they may have relaxed the one kid policy because of cultural reasons. Apparently the males are raised with the idea to provide for their parents in their later years, something the girls aren't subjected to. So girls were either terminated via abortion or dumped once they were born. It'd be interesting to know what the ratio male to female is these days.

 

And people wonder why others aren't too fond of the Chinese.

OK, I have a bit of a history with Chinese girls. One I dated who is now 30 I guess has 2 siblings with the youngest being a brother. There are ways to get around it. Her mother was a doctor, stated on both the girls certificates that they had birth defects so was allowed to try for another baby. Funny they stopped when they had a son.

Ironically, both girls are very smart, scholarships to uni etc and the brother is what I'd politely say an "underachiever".

But...the parents got their son.

And to add to that, I've seen where the sons get all the family cash in the will when the father passes away. Then they just forget about taking care of their own mother. Very selfish but I've seen that more than one time.
