We'll always be playing catch up in these scenario's, Yeah, the gov could try and work quicker but there's always going to hold up's/bottlenecks that slow up the process.

 

Bit like those toffee nosed cruise ship tourists that had to be quarantined for two weeks. Whinging about not having proper food or entertainment for the first week in complex that was in a disused and in a non operational state. It doesn't matter who you are, it's going to take at least week to get these things fully operational again.

 

Similar thing with Scomo, the last three days he's announced three different figures the gov intends to spend fighting carona's. First it was a Billion, next day they jacked that figure to 5Bil, and just this morning i hear another one of 10Bil..

 

So yeah, we're fucked in many regards..

So it's finally happened at my work. 2 levels got evacuated after 2 positive tests returned. Cleaners are in for a couple of days. Seems pretty pointless actually. More like a for show clean up. We've got several sets of lifts and about 20 more other floors in one of our buildings. Don't tell me the carrier only stuck to 2 floors and used the fire stairs each day to get to their floor.
