every labor party PM since WW 2 has been a member of the "Socialist" Fabian society of Australia, fuck they even write most of Gough Whitlam's fucked up policy's 

 

Maybe do some research and learn WTF went/goes on in the world

As for Victorian Labor and Dan Andrews, he's protecting the people. Not the dollar men in their Toorak palaces, but the Victorian people and I'll support any govt that supports the people.

The stay at home orders, the public congregations, the lockdown protests, the border breaches and yea they went about their lives, but considering what we'd seen occur elsewhere in the world why did people disregard it all?

Like 'Ohh well, it's not gonna happen to us' Well yes, it is. I'm in SA, we had tourist buses of Ruby Princess passengers come to the Barossa, infections were reported and our health dept locked it down. I'm in neighbouring council area to the Barossa, we had warnings, people were made aware and the people listened. Our view was 'Shit, it could happen to us' so everybody was cautious.

 

Yes, the onus is on the citizens, agreed. But when those citizens blatantly ignore all of the warnings and ignore the recommendations, what happens? BOOM and you have exponential growth and we start talking about U.S. or European numbers in the tens of thousands EVERYDAY. We haven't gotten to that point. Why? 'cos we didn't tell people 'It's just a flu' we didn't go 'Business' First'. We locked it down.

 

What would we rather have? a state crippled by over governance or a state crippled by death. We can recover from over governance. I'm yet to see anyone recover from death.
