Try Blu
I like the idea of heard immunity. The uks doing it by stealth. They protect only the vulnerable but let everyone else get it and build up their immunity. Eventually it fizzles out. But the way we are doing it now its in slow motion. I reckon it'll wash through the whole community as it is now.Mrs MLG sprayed me down with Glen 20 when I returned from work. I'm a Sydney cbd worker so plenty of opportunity rub against some Chinese girls on the way home. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile appSounds good. Herd immunity.Protecting the elderly with a younger stronger ‘human shield”. Lock the old away for a few months. . The opposite of ‘flattening the curve’. “Herd immunity” by the numbers:25million Aussies.lets go with a 30% infection rate............equates to 7.5 million cases Aussie wide.15% infected will need a hospital..........1.25million peopleAustralia has 4 beds per 1000........total of 25000 beds.lets say they can expand the number of beds 4 fold through smart planning etc.....brings total beds to 100k.Mortality seems to run around 15% of admitted........125k. Sobering.

Try Blu
The compulsory 2 week quarantine on arrival is a good one. Stolen from our kiwi mates. . stops the tyre kickers. Should slow shit down a bit. Hope we can get enough medical ppe fro our frontliners.
Old fox
Shutting a few more gates today. My 96 year old dad is in a nursing home. No virus here yet ( that we know of) but his nursing home has been placed on an indefinite lockdown for patients safety. Not sure if all other nursing homes will go into lock down. I support the move for his well being, and that of other elderly patients there. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
Serrated edge
they were saying that terminally ill people may be taken off ventilators to make room for those with the virus who may recover Yep Drs choosing 40 year olds for ventilators while 60 + years are left to drown as their lungs fill , This WILL happen here ,,have no doubt that we are headed for disaster , This attempt to SLOW rather than completely contain the virus will put more lives at stake ,, Same with England approach ,,need roughly 60 % immunity for that to work ,,,but many will die while they build up that immunity. The cunts choice of action will leave blood on their hands , Had we placed a complete lockdown weeks ago lives would have been saved,,and we'd be on a similar trajectory as in Korea , who are really winning the war and setting an example of what we should be doing . puggle6
For what it's worth, pugglewife was tested due to a bad cough which is fairly persistent from her asthma. No other symptoms but they asked her to stay at home until results due tomorrow. I was not asked to stay at home, however my work told me to wait until results. She was tested as a precaution and honestly do not expect the test to be positive. Biblical days tho..
Serrated edge
Hope she is ok pug, Me mate said there was a few at work with sniffles and coughs yesterday,, management were not showing concern. Tried to talk him out of going back ,,,make out he feels crook ,,but nah the DC said he'd go in today,,A DC coz he can afford to lose the pay ,, Big prob is most can't afford to self isolate ,,,,,,so it spreads ,
