Where to find quality brass pipe

Some twenty years ago I went for a holiday in Perth. Over there I bought a really nice brass pipe. If I recall it was all hexagonal based. ie the main pipe as well as the cone piece,elbow was six sided etc. Anyhow I've been looking on all the bong shop sites and it seems like most sell stock standard pipes with the same generic parts. Is there somewhere here or overseas that sell 'quality' looking pipes?

Don't buy a brass bong as heating brass will produce toxic fumes that when inhaled in a large enough quantity will give you an illness called Metal fume fever.

We aren't electroplating it,,we aren't welding it and we aren't smelting it..

 

Doubt any of my brass bowls have ever reached the temperatures to cause metal fuming,,doubt yours have either.

Thanks fellas for your replies; yeah I'll keep looking for a nice pipe, I'll find what I'm after eventually. I might even try a glass one out. As far as a bong, I'd love a 'cobolt blue' glass one - same colour as the old medicine bottles. I've always used brass slip cones but might try a full glass setup this time.

The old school brass pipes back in the day were quality.......well.........maybe a little rough..........but chunky.........heavy for what they were.. Always lose them before they broke. Seems to be the opposite nowadays.
