i've never used coco either

 

i would have said the same as above looks like she needs a drink 

have you pushed your finger into the media & had a feel for moisture 

 

i know peat can get hydrophobic pretty quick & is hard to re-hydrate 

have you lifted the peat & had a look at the coco below 

 

when you water do you find the moment you poor water on top of the pot 

it flows out the bottom 

 

it might be the coco round the sides of the pot is still dry while the center of the pot is moist 

this can happen when you flush water though the pot quickly 

 

do the 2 pot feel the same weight after a water 

 

again not a coco grower so i'm just guessing

if you dig around in the coco spell anything rotting a bit? if the pot is saturated looks like it could potentially be a rot issue.Also What kind of mulch is that?

Anyway, to solve it quick, just pull the plant out the pot and have a quick look at the roots.

half say water half say needs water 

it doesent look as strong as the other plant and if you are watering them the same dont think it would need it but they say you cant over water in coco so who knows.

I think its not taking the heat as well as the other one

its all smiple if its dry water it if its wet let it dry out

The bigger bushier plant is the mother/grown from seed and the ill plant is a clone from that plant. That’s why she seems smaller struggling. I only have the one tent/area so tried pushing out a few clones to fill space. I had 4 clones waiting for these to finish just sitting on a window sill to get the required light hrs. One of them did the same thing. Just dried and died. So I have 3 clones waiting now

thx billy. I’ll check that. Just seems weird but it has been hot here.

 

15lts thru both plants. About 7-9 lts per pot on average.
