Bunnings soil what to do..plzhelp

Recommended Posts

Can start in small pots and when the roots start poking out the bottom can upgrade to double size pot until in the 15 gallon. Watch the strength , girth and healthiness of those roots coming out the bottom of the pot in DNG soil.. like viagra

It's rocket fuel for your plants :)

Cover crop, cane mulch, Water Only soil DNG, bit of neem cake, kelp meal top dress once so far [emoji108][emoji41], as the Dr greenrhumbs soil isn't performing as good as the www.easyasorganics.com.au soil :)

This is what happens. There is so much info out there and so many people with very strong, valid and conflicting opinions.

My advice..

Keep it simple for your first grow. Concentrate on the basics. Treat it as a learning experience. You are not going to make High TImes centrefold buds.

1) Find spot with plenty of sun

2) Buy any premium potting mix from Bunnings.

3) Feed it with Seasol, Charlie Carp, Maxicrop or whatever until it starts to flower. Once or twice a week.

4) If its a male rip it out and start again

5) If its a female stop the previous feed and just do liquid Potash (Bunnings) until its ready.

6) Research YouTube about harvesting, drying and curing

Whatever you do, don't go for the cheap soil from Bunnings, at least the NZ Bunnings cheap soil. We honestly didn't think we'd have such a bad reaction to that soil coz ya know, it's a weed, it'll grow anywhere. Anywhere but Bunnings soil. Our biggest and most badass plant (AK47) has been raped by that soil, I'll never forgive it. Hopefully it pulls through
