lady420
I have done a bit of trimming but too scared to do anymore in case I mess up, plus I've read not to do anything much after week three of flower. I mainly trimmed fan leaves that were shading other buds.
BubbaKush
I too get worried about chopping too many leaves off, I also just remove the ones blocking the light from the bud sites, the only time I do a heavy defoliation is when I first go to 12/12, one day when I am able to grow more than 2 plant's I'll give the heavy defoliation a go on one of them and see how I go.

Ozzy420
Me personally removing the fan leafs isent needed, they help produce the sugars the plant feeds off once the plant it done with it will drop it any way. Taking the fan leaf can cause a plant to go hermie because of the stress of the fan leaf being removed all the time. If i do it i do it once and that would be well into flower just open up the canopy a lil bit other than that i let the plant use em up and drop em...
lady420
Thanks for the input. I'm just going by what I've read and seen in videos, so flying in the dark a bit being a new grower. I'm sure in time, if my patience lets me, I will improve greatly.
