House & Garden hydro or aquaflakes

Recommended Posts

I'm getting there. Soil first, pure coco, the coco perlite, now perlite. I'm sure I'll get to dwc soon. The only reason I'm not super keen on dwc is that it requires constant checking. Sometimes I'm away from my grow area for 2 weeks. I've got a good setup now with pumps, timers, and a 100L box each to collect the runoff and have filled with nutes ready to go. I've just been away for 13 days and even though my growing skills are pretty bad the grow managed to survive pretty well over that time. I even setup a cctv cam to keep an eye on it. I don't think I could leave a dwc alone for that long.

I'm new to growing but what's stopping you from running a full DWC I have a Dutch kettle and it rocks for me.

I did do one grow in coco/pearlite with advanced nutrients run and in this in DWC setup only problem I got was cal mag def simple solution straight to AN and got a sup fixed it and the plant grew nice.

I wouldn't know how to start mixing up that stuff papa! I think this time I will get a seperate veg and flower each. The h&g uses A and B mixed all the way through.

Maybe go full sterile mate dry salts and some pool shock. Ill find ya a link gimme a sec.

Ended up getting 5L of this stuff. I'm expecting big things Pedro... lol

Nah don't use the grow, just the bud-rite

much prefer higher K than N meself, but you could flower with the grow-rite if you wanted to

I reckon a higher K than N produces a better plant, fatter hardier stems, more capable of producing BIG buds

not floppy plants that struggle to hold small buds up, works great on pure sativa's as well, they don't like to much N

did buy the grow once, was me first grow using it, still got half left somewhere lol

just like to be different than the herd I suppose

Fingers crossed. I'm usually only 2 plants at a time so 5L for $99 is good enough for me. I'll save my coco ab h&g and use it for the first couple of weeks then switch to budrite. Always thought h&g was too N heavy for flower when i upped the ppms.

Good stuff, I get 20l at a time, at $180 its very cost effective

You will be right, its a good well balanced ferty, pretty sure SE uses it as well

Piss yellow PH or about 6 on the digital meter
