Humidifier vs vaporiser

Hey guys,

 

Just curious - I live in SA and the air here is quite dry (not to mention very cold here) do you guys use a vaporiser or humidifier for your grow tent?

I had a vaporiser sitting in my cupboard so I've been using that but it's a constant battle to get the water out of the bottom of the tent. Are humidifiers any better?

I’m using a $130 humidifier from the good guys. Works great. Gets Rh up 20 to 30% higher

Yep when the temp drops, the air can hold less water thus RH increases.

 

..... warmed air can “hold” a good deal more moisture than the cool air. ... It's just that, at higher temperatures, water molecules are more likely to go into the vapor phase, so there will be more water vapor in the air.

 

Which is why as the temp drops the RH increases as the airs ability to 'hold' it decreases.
