Fungus Gnats

Hi guys has been awhile since have been on the site.

I am experiencing some problems with my plants.

I have fungus gnats that much I am sure of but I feel like I have some sort of deficiency going on.

I am roughly two - three weeks into flower and all my lower leaves are browning and dying but they are showing signs of black dots and white dots.

I have included some pictures any advice would be greatly appreciated.

After a closer inspection there is some sort of larve on the leaves.

Sorry the photos aren’t better very difficult to get a good close up.

Pythium, it's everywhere,.never get rid of it but Fungus gnats carry it so it can take hold.

I had a dig in the soil the roots are still nice and white can’t see any browning and doesn’t smell.

Are you sure it is root rot.

Also they are still very strong and don’t feel soft or gooey.

And they are still taking plenty of water.

I think it might be another fungus possibly.

Flush meduim ph water with neem oil, and don't let neem touch bud sites.

It IS possible. I've just had one cark it coz of pyth, and I'm not holding hopes for the other.

 

Flush meduim ph water with neem oil, and don't let neem touch bud sites.

I'd use H2O2 myself. After all the reading I did on neem, it is banned under my roof.

Oops, sorry, I missed you post there.

 

YES! Gnats are a vector for transmitting pythium as they carry it on their feet.

 

Less chance of it if you don't have gnats but you can still get it even without them. It's a real pain of a parasitic oomycote!

Second h2o2. Kills them instantly. Put plenty and I mean plenty of yellow stickies around.
