Most of the chatter about CMH quality over HPS and efficiently gains was when they first came as retrofits. I think they were all 4k to begin with

 

Lots more colours now, 10k would be opposite to HPS wouldn't it?

Going to put some strips with it 3500 or 4k + UVA [emoji106]

 

600w CHPS on 1 hr before and after for Emmerson effect.

 

Also have a 860w 4000k CMH retrofit that thinking of putting strips with far red + UVA and have the strips fire 1hr either side

 

, I have an unhealthy experimental urge hahaha

au standard states it must have a second layer

 

of glass to protect you against UV burn...

 

which they do,

 

witch is counter productive to want we want.

Yeah my 860w is double jacketed, vertical only. Has spikes of UVA but not to much. The 10k has quite a bit I imagine [emoji106]
