Not sure mate, you could probably flower with 4 550s in a 3mx3m might get some shadows in the corners. In a 3m x 3m I would run 4 x 550 type diy rigs and then a qb96 elite in each corner I reckon that would be epic

If there's a decent hydro shop in the area go see them tell them all the different items ya want and ask for a quote. I got a quote for my bro not long ago and it was a fair bit cheaper getting it all in one go. List of importance tent>lights>fans>carbon filters>dehumidifier>fan controllers>humidity and temp controllers>oscillating fans>ppm meter>ph meter. Once you got all that setup and dialed in you can start deciding how ya wanna grow. Personally Im a bit of a pussy and haven't tried rdwc, I'd suggest coco. Flood and drain is good for automation and less risk of issue than rdwc.

The original tent in the kit was 8' x 8' so 2.4 x 2.4m but the total size of the area is 3.6 x 2.5m

Yeah general rule you want 35 watts of led per square foot. So 2240 watts of led for that space. But 4 x 550s should be plenty with the crossover lighting. Or 4 x 600h kits if ya wanna save a few bucks. The r spec 550s look Co as fuck with the red heatsink.

Got a mate who grew out side last season but has just finished renovating his house and has a 3x3m space under his house now. His budget is 4.5k and hes thinking of buying this.

Walk into a hydro shop with 4K and you’ll come out with with an excellent setup and ongoing advice.
