Fungus Gnats or Something Else?

Recommended Posts

that's a cool post pug

i use aloe @ 15ml per liter which i work out the powder buy weight

inner leaf powder is 10 grams of powder to make 1lt of aloe juice

so 1.5 grams makes 150ml of aloe juice to add to 10lts of water

aloe whole leaf powder is 20 grams of powder makes 1 liter of aloe juice

in this case 3 grams makes 150ml of juice to add to 10lts of water

these numbers are on the aloe powder container i buy depending on which

aloe powder you have you might have diff ratios to me

i also use potassium silicate @ 2.5ml per liter

i round up 1 US gallon to 4 lts

I posted that on 3/5,the straw really worked goat, looks like u know as much about soil as u do most things

And just out of curiosity what benefit he gonna get from straw indoors goat?

Especially on a 3 or 4 month grow?

Think the light has enough energy to start the decaying process?

Will the soil need anything if it is indeed a living "soil " in that time frame

Probably already killed microbes

I know I asked the wrong person because u wouldn't have a clue

U truly r the goat of DCs

Yeah all I know as soon as I've taken the mulch away gave soil the spray neem oil n aloe vera with eco oil, bunch of gnats all gone, just focusing on eggs in soil, drying out now. Can see nil flying around now. I'm really not sure about mulch, in living soil, but every other living soil grower seems to be using it? Guess i have to read up more on mulch... yah

Thanks to both Itchy and Pug for some well thought out and genuinely informative info. That spray tutorial could be a sticky post in itself! I'm going to use that info this weekend. The plants aren't scrogging yet, so I think I can move the spray & drench operation to the shower. Then I can get messy without overspray/overflow affecting the tent, lamp, etc. If I do it during the day, I can let the leaves dry for a while before heading back to the tent and avoid leaf burn.
