hi,

im wanting to know the best quality , cost effective , cheap led lights to use

im new to led lights and looking at a room approx 1.5m x 2.5m for 2 - 3 plants

whats led's should i buy?

any help would be much appreciated

if you got your heart set on LEDs

 

don't go cheap...

 

you get what you pay for for..

 

im not a led user.

 

Have a look at Papasmurf999 grow dairies

 

he loves his LEDs

 

and grows some nice fluffy buds... lol  

 

nah, only jokin he grows some decent nugs under LED!

Plenty of cheap leds ...plenty of expensive leds too.

Most of them are crap.

 

And for the coverage you want you'll need to spend some decent dollars .

Might be worth it if you live out in the desert .

 

Hid will cover that area easily and cheaply.

Go diy if ya wanna save some bucks, quickbloomlights.com.au, horticulturelightinggroup.com or atreumlighting.com

There's heaps more popping up every day. Cutter.com.au has sol skin rigs equivalent to a hlg 550 for like 870 or something from memory. Cheap as chips light up a 4x4 beautifully. 2 would probably be good in your space. Or a couple de chm 630

Yep, that's where I'd start... why led and what's your budget? Also is 1.5x2.5 your tent space or canopy size?

Don't believe that about using lower power with the leds ,,

 

And for five hundred you could get two HIDs,,one digital ballast and a magnetic one ,,and your globes.

 

Use the digital for lower wattage in veg ,,when they're big enough chuck in the other light .

 

Although Better with two digital ballasts

 

Why not get one to start them off in then get a second digital in a months time if you'll have extra money by then.
