i saw that pop up on news today...

 

no way the tactical crime squad just stumbled across a 500 pound shipment in a Hyundai.

 

I call bullshit.

Yeah I agree 100% Infact I have a feeling that its now common procedure or is becoming common procedure to do a random traffic stop and search the vehicle.

'Oh my look at this, what have we stumbled upon here. 1.2 Million dollars in cannabis, in an inconspicuous Hyundai iLoad, what luck we have had today my fellow constable"

I think these intercepts are to hide a larger ongoing investigation and surveillance. They knew they could intercept this "haul" because they had the information that there would be no danger to the officers (is: firearms, violent offenders)

 

If I was that bloke that's now awaiting a hearing I be trying my hardest to get word out that there's a bigger investigation and surveillance going on without the brass-and-copper being counter-tippes
