Fan wiring

Hi all

 

I picked up a new vent fan that needs to have a plug installed but the wiring digram has me a bit stumped. Please correct me if Im wrong but this is what Im leaning towards

 

Blue=Neutral

Brown=Live

Black=speed controller

White=Earth???

 

Its the white thats got me confused. Any advice would be welcome.

Haha all good guys had a stoner moment. The fan is a class II (double insulated), electrical device so no need for an earth. The fan is a Ruck etaline and has a built in 3 speed motor so the white, brown and black are actually the speed settings (low, med, high).
