Bicarb and vinegar produces CO2

BUT

Increasing CO2 is only part of the equation, there needs to be an equivalency between the amount of light available for the CO2 produced to be able to be used by the plant.

Under most circumstances decent air exchange/circulation will provide the plant with all the CO2 it can use. I know of someone who spent $$$$ on a full blown CO2 setup, with very little to show for it.
