When is the best time to top them and what excatly do I trim off that won't destroy my plants. To save me or anyone else explaining how to do it go to YouTube and search topping cannabis plants. Heaps of tutes on it. Top them now and and the new tips won't have long enough time to grow and support As much bud . Better off at this stage to supercrop or LST. Westoz1987 Posted January 20, 2019 Author Report Share Posted January 20, 2019 I've watched a few videos on topping and seen some people split the top node and some or most cut it off. I've been using Miracle-Gro maxfeed from Bunnings, my pots are perlite, Coco peat, qaulity potting mix. So maybe I'll just top a couple of the smaller strains and see what happens.
