I'm about to make a grow room for winter 1.2m X 1.2m (2.4m high) using sheets of formply. I'm going to paint the inside a gloss white.

 

What's a good light and exhaust to buy?

and i love form ply... did you know you can actually purchase it in white ?  bit more expensive, but painting regular black form sounds like a pain.. glueing or stapling panda film would likely be easier and more economical..

If you use paint go for a Matt rather than gloss ,Matt finish will disperse light better.

Depends on your budget and what you wanna do, but a hlg 550 or 2 x 260 wat Kits from quickbloom would cost you $1350 or $1050 respectively and do the same thing. You'll either need intake/outtake fans. Probably 6" in and 8" down. Plus a controller to throttle the speeds (syscom has some cool ran controllers.)

Or a split system a/c seal the room and add co2.

 

You could definitely run hps in there aswell, especially with the head height you could run like a 750w de gavita or something similar, leave it strapped to the roof and you'll never have to adjust your light height.

A dehumidifier should be a fairly high priority too before you go into flower.
