can 110V light bulb go to Aus 240V socket?

Many years ago I bought a Walkman in Japan. It had two straight prongs for the wall charger. I bent them with pliers and plugged in to a normal power point. Worked fine

I would like to use it to check on my Monitor (Ph/EC/Temp/Humidity ect) when I get home but am also thinking of trying a lights out foliar spray so would really like to have a true green light and if necessary have hands free to adjust the tank or spray if needed. The light would be in a room not in the tent but the tent is never zipped.
