Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I need your help identifying whats wrong with my first plant, shes around a 5 weeks old and kind of stopped growing i have a hydro setup with ph of 5.8 and using general Hydroponics nutritions exactly as instructed on the bottles. Room temperature & humidity is perfect. Starts with yellow spottings with relativity older leafs

Please let me know if you know how to get it back to be healthy

Check calibrate your PH meter...you should be up at 6.0 to 6.2 in veg for DWC

What are the temps on your nutes?

What is the PPM or E.C?

Are your nutes kept in the Dark?

How often do you change your Nute's?

Are you using RO water or Tap water...If tap water what is the E.C.

Whatever you are doing wrong it's been that way from the start..They should be a lot lot bigger for 5 Weeks old

Hi buzzo

Hi

My ph is 6.2

What are the temps on your nutes? 20 Celsius

What is the PPM or E.C? Not sure but i use bottled water

Are your nutes kept in the Dark? Yes

How often do you change your Nute's? On weekly basis

Are you using RO water or Tap water : i use bottled

Im not sure if its a nutrient issue, light issue, root rot ( i showed the roots on the video link) or its just a bad seed. 5 weeks with this size surely indicates something wrong.

Appreciate your help

Regards

Light is way rubbish, brand of light is all it has going for itself.

I do hope you have not been giving full strength food to the plants, unless it has a DWC specific feed program. If it is not DWC specific, then 1/4 strength to start is more than enough food to start, building as plants grow.

As Joe says, a complete solution change every 1-2 weeks is recommended( check base ph and EC before adding nutes and ph adjuster) . ph check every day at least. EC check every day to see if nutes are being taken up. Log everything.

Water temps 20-22C, never over 26C.
