Yeah I’m a little bit paranoid about the height of the two biggest ones they are about half a foot higher than the fence

Keep in mind when they bud, they may get 150-200% higher then what they are now..

so yeah offering bent fishing rod buds over the fence to your neighbors might not be a good idea, but I would like it .

Tried doing a little maintenance today on the plants, bending and tie them down to lower their profile, in the process I spanned two branches, I used plumbers thread tape to tie them back together, will this save them or has the damage been done

They'll be alright ,,don't let water gather there ,,remove the tape in about ten to fourteen days.

Agreed with SE... they're hardy fuckers once they get big enough they'll take a hell of a beating. Soften up where you want it to bend first by twisting and pinching the stem tomake it more flexible.

Thanks for the advice on the snapped branches guys, I shouldn’t have bothered with it because it turned out to be a male, I didn’t realise until coming home from being away at work for a week, so my other two plants have been pollinated, which is ok more seeds for me, and looks like both plants are going to produce a considerable amount of buds both smelling of mangoes, the male plant was the Neville’s haze, hopefully end of June will be harvest time

I’m having problems with the tips of the bigger fan leaves looking like rust and and crumbling, could this be a nutrient problem, I still having a ongoing issue with grasshoppers and a little bit of white fly
