Got the king hit, atm I use Neem, soapnut foliar+ohn, tried fpj with flowers and lavender steeped, compost tea. As I said, flying through stuff as I'm starting to treat everything like a canna plant now.

 

I reckon compost tea foliar worked real well as IPM.

 

See the big bio boys are mixing soil now?

 

All around the $55 mark for 25 ish litres.

 

Funnily enough, I was asked recently about my soil, and the cost.

 

Think I priced it at $1 a litre roughly.

let us know Carbcon what ya think of king hit , what oils do you smell in it ect ect 

 

agree with the compost tea , 1st thing to do when facing issues is re-inoculate with a tea 

flood the plant with beneficial's to out compete any nasty's that might be causing probs & go from there  

 

homemade compost or casting don't have to be expensively made but in saying that the higher quality starting

materials = the higher quality end soil mix

I got my order from this sale today and even though I don't know much about it, yet it definitely smells the goods and I got a sample bottle of the King Hot too.

Quite sure I'll be going back there again [emoji122]

my order turned up late friday with a sample bottle of king hit as well to try

 

king hit has got a bit of a eucalyptus essential oil smell , something else in there as well i cant quite make out 

maybe rosemary oil & possibly thyme , hard to smell past the eucalyptus

Was posting last night and said I'd wait till I use.

 

Copy on the eucalyptus. It ain't strong strong eucalyptus though is it? But is the majority of the initial smell.

 

Ya, there's a spicy\piney undertone but runs right through it too.

Not unpleasant to smell eh?

 

Rosemary, thyme, yep, coriander maybe too?

yeah not a strong smell of eucalyptus 

 

i say rosemary cos it's a well known pesticide 

& thyme can be used as a fungicide

The pest killing ingredients are all safe to humans and pets and are actually edible

just have to add it to the ipm regime & see how we go 

 

just about to start up a dr greenthumbs high tea in the air lift brewer & see how that does round the garden
