YANTRA SEEDS ANY GOOD? SEEKING MORE INFO ON ONE SEED...

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I know YANTRA SEEDS have been suggested as a good source for those wanting seeds that are domestic. ( not imported ). It is always hard to know the quality of what you buy and how legit some places are in terms of what they promote. Am I correct that purchase of seeds* in Australia is Legal for souvenir/collecting purposes [ just one reason ]. I am looking into strains for ADHD and found this seed on YANTRA as a strain that matches some info on what might be a good strain to explore for ADHD.

This info from YANTRA

BREEDER Yantra
GENETICS Lowryder #2 x Hindu Kush
VARIETY Indica / Sativa
FLOWERING TYPE Autoflowering
SEX Feminised
THC CONTENT Unknown
GROWS Greenhouse, Indoors, Outdoors
FLOWERING TIME 7-9 Weeks
HARVEST MONTH 2.5 Months from Seed
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES Easy to manage auto-flowering strain with good potency. Likely to be high in CBD.

What I am wondering of which I cant see on site is % of THC and CBD & the height. The specs;

FLOWERING TYPE Autoflowering
SEX Feminised
FLOWERING TIME 7-9 Weeks
HARVEST MONTH 2.5 Months from Seed
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES Easy to manage auto-flowering strain with good potency

Is matching what I am looking for. If that height of that plant is TALL for example. Is there are reason that the plant cant be grown SHORT , by training , wiring etc to keep it very SHORT.

I hope that makes sense,

Thanks !

Hindu kush is a good solid strain, but why anyone would putrefy it with lowrider and call themselves a 'breeder' is beyond me. Granted that possibly doesn't help you, so I'll try again...

Personally, I wouldn't worry over the cannabinoid levels as most of what you will read online is just marketing twaddle. So long as the hybrid does autoflower on time, it will be a small plant. That said, any plant can be trained if needed.

That is not correct

Cannabis seeds are not legal in Australia.

There have been many people charge with possession of seeds, a few people on these forums have been busted and when the cops find the seeds... that is an extra charge because of the seeds

No problem at all keeping it short, lots of tipping and tying down, no issues there..

Maybe the people here could make some strain suggestions if you tell us what your selection criteria are... what size effect taste or cannabinoids you are targeting.

Yantra sell a lot of breeder packaged seed in retail packs so you know you are getting original genetics. Some are inhouse bred strains by yantra though, which I am a bit dubious of...

Do some research on your state's drug law to know what risk you are taking when it comes to seeds... here in WA it's just considered cannabis material and gets weighed with everything else in the misfortune of a charge.
