ZEN2U
So what you're saying is.... Don't scrog outside... You get the exact same results without having to worry about what size screen you need.
kloud9
Best way I found to SCROG outside was just to pin the plant down, no screen. Get your hands on some No.8 fencing wire. Cut into 300mm lengths(min or longer), bend last 25mm out slightly go give resistance to being pulled out, believe me, the plant will try when it gets bigger, fold in half and use the wire straight into the ground to pin down the plant. Obviously you train them down when they are supple and young. You end up with a series of pins holding the plant down. You will find that you will have to defol a lot as you go on. The plants will handle it well though if you allow the new growth to get approx 75-100mm long with new leaves to support itself. Train the plant in as many directions as you can and as big as you can. When the plant turns don't tie any more, let it reach and flower.Holy shit.. that sounds like way too much hard work.. RickJames
Forgot to mention, when you pin the plant down, leave an air gap(approx 25mm or more, just cut longer pins) between plant and ground. You want air flow under the plant.Cheers Zen always helpful mate [emoji1360]Already can’t wait to see how it goes Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

[emoji23] bend and done [emoji108]So tell me, how big a screen do I need for a plant that wants to grows over 10' tall and gives over 2lbs? I'm interested, share the info with me. All I have given is an alternative which is a lot more versatile than a screen. Ignore it or use it, it is no skin off my nose either way.
Try Blu
Seedling on a windowsill going into final size pot of 18ltrs and we are scrogging 2lb plants. Funny. Bigger pot for the length of grow I reckon RJ. Will be an easier grow with a better outcome. Providing you don’t over love your seedling.Good luck.

Could be 1 metre high, but 4-5 metres in height, and have 4-6 pounds on it [emoji106] so I’m sure you could do it with 3 metres tall, and only 2 lbs on it.. ZEN2U
Kloud, you make no sense. Just bend and train. That is not a lot of info. Please forgive my ignorance and explain the entire method for me. I'm willing to learn any time.
