She's plainly innocent, and the basics of economics tells you that taking ganga from a rich, affluent and high cost of living country like Australia, and importing said ganga into indonesia is just stupid. You would be pissing your money away. She's been set up, and we owe it to ourselves, particularly those of us who go up to bali or have the slightest bit of outrage at the idea that someone could be put TO DEATH for possesion of plant material, to donate to the cause.

 

I agree it should be private, with no connections to OS, so perhaps it would be better if we just have an addy we can send money orders or something to and we'll be able to help....

I've sent a short email to jjj's Steve Cannane from the Hack program reguarding any information he has about Schapelle Corbys friend setting up a bank account to make deposits into for the defence fund.

 

Hopefully he wont be too busy to answer and i should have more details soon. Listen to Hack tomorrow (Thursday) at 5:30pm for possibly more info, i can't see that they would discuss this without providing details.

 

In the mean time, if any of you hear anything about this account please post the info here.

1 has to wonder why she didnt smell it, why the event wasnt all caught on camera with all the new security upgrades since the terrorist issues, etc. etc. etc....

 

even if she was a hardcore smoker, not only would it be cheaper to buy the gear in bali, u dont run the risk of transporting the drugs or anything like that....u have got to be fucked in the head to try and smuggle any kind of illegal substance out of the country especially 4.2kg of buds strapped to your back

 

IMO she has been setup but the person who set her up fucked up and sent his stash to the wrong country...needless to say, why bother sending pot overseas? it would most likely cost the same amount, there wouldnt be a risk of transporting, etc...im thinking anti-pot propaganda :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

It's the balinese who set her up, it was planted in a loosely sealed bag in her body board bag at Bali's airport.

 

The bag would never get past customs here so it wasn't in her body board bag when she left Australia. It wasn't sealed and would have smelled enough for the dogs to catch it on the way through our customs.

 

The bag has too many fingerprints to identify if any of them are hers. Presumably they didn't have gloves on when handling the evidence, maybe they did this on purpose because they knew what they wouldn't find.

 

She has been made to take drug tests and passed them all.

 

Even an idiot would not smuggle at a loss.

 

In any normal country the fact they destroyed the evidence by letting everyone and their dog handle it would be grounds for some sort of mistrial/dismissal of charges. Let alone the fact they let people handle a controled substance.

seriously If you havent been around new zealand you dont know what your missing. that place is awesome and I have seen most of it.

You can go from Chasing kiwis at night through ancient kauri trees, damn even the snails there are big.(bug).

to decent nudie beaches (mt mauganui),

to being surrounded by hippies and marijuana plantations (corromandle).

Good fishing and some of the best fishing in the world, I used to catch fish longer than I was tall called hapuka (grouper) in the cook straight between the north and south islands.

NZ also has some of the best weed in the world,

Hmm Salvia is legal, although no one knows what it is .

 

 

I will be taking the kids back there when they are older and going around the country again.

 

The safest place in the world right now would be NZ, or AU.

I personally wouldnt go near thailand or asia, but ive never been there either.

it's a shocking turn of events isnt' it.

 

Maybe it's a good idea that Oz Stoners isn't associated with any donations as it would look a bit suss, seeing that it's a marijuana related case. but i think someone mentioned that before.

 

I'll be talking to friends and seeing if we can get a group donation together. This poor girl must be going through hell over there.
