to me this monsanto report just illustrates and confirms that pure organic techniques are the safest, healthiest path to a better future where human consumption is concerned and of course cannabis farming fits right into the organic picture, nothing compares to organic, it is the best option, and for me i cant see any other option that is viable, organic organic organic, lets all ditch the chemicals for good, just my opinion folks lol

mostly about diversity Kloud

like with companion planting or cover cropping , it's about having many diff companion plants

not just the one or two , in a backyard they say around 10% of plants , food or flower , need to be beneficial plants

like scent masking plants for instance , limonene , a monoterpene , the lemon smell is good at deterring bugs

but you can't just put that in & think that's all that needs doing

as an idea , check this , now might not have all my facts spot on here but why let that stand in the way of a good story lol

Ireland started growing potatoes around mid to late 1500's , Ireland were struggling to build on there community because of the

weather & the difficulties in growing food , an explorer saw potatoes growing in Peru i think & noticed in wetter regions they

grew well But they also grew well in hot dry & humid areas which seem to mean they would grow anywhere & if Ireland

could grow them there food stocks would increase & so would there population

they started growing them & they did do well for a while the only issue was they had not grown them in the way they were grown

in Peru , in Peru they grew many varieties in the one field & when it came time to harvest they dug them up & sorted them

once they could see what they were , Ireland however decided they only liked one or two varieties & only grew what they liked

see where this is going , Peru had a " Diverse " selection of potatoes where Ireland didn't , this single move / choice killed millions

of people , in Peru the diversity kept everything in check , where one kind of potato was susceptible to a pest or pathogen another

kind of potato was resistant to those same pests of pathogens keeping each other protected , Ireland however lost that protection

with the loss of the diversity , anyway many people died B4 they could workout where the prob was coming from , the potatoes

there's more detail than that but  that's just a long way of saying more diversity , the only guys to do mono cropping well = the growing of one plant on mass

is the chem guys / monsato , where they sterilize everything from the top of the plant to the bottom of the root system & everything in between , stopping

all bugs & pathogens from having any interest in invading the crop or living in the soil
