The fuckers had locked down the patent on glyphosate for the first 20 years and cleaned up bigtime, and many people moved onto RoundUp and away from traditional herbicides. Biggest selling point was the sales pitch that they pushed that it netralised once it came in contact with the soil. Back in '82 the fuckers were selling it for $400 for 20 litre drum. The company should be wiped from the face of the planet with their business practices. That's not even touching on the GM Corn crap where they sent many farmers broke.
