NL buds not fattening up

You certain there are no light leaks ?

100% no light leaks. I'm not in a tent but I a basement type area.

Not hot. Earlier I had a salt build up problem which I fixed. I think it's the reninants of that. It's max of about 20 in there and cooler at night.

I know you aren't requiring an early harvest, but longer dark period may remind the plant it's in flower... If you believe it is starting to reveg

I think I'll increase dark period by 1hr and go in there tonight to check for light leaks although I'm almost certain there are none. But pays to be sure.

They r winter buds

Jack up the temp

Try get it above 26c when lights on

I don't know who created this myth that they don't like heat that's bullshit

Get it warm in there or they won't grow no matter how much light u put in there

20c should be your minimum temperature at night and only go up from there

Any one who has grown over winter should have recognized that leaf n growth pattern

I'm surprised no one picked it up

Also check your bulb just in case it's that but I don't think so

Thanks micmac. The space I'm in is generally cool and in summer it reaches mid to high 20s when the temps outside are far higher. I can't really control the temps as the space is too big, I'll just have to live with it. One of the reasons I went hps was because of my cooler temps but seems its not enough

I also though being indica it would handle the lower temps better too.

Live and learn I guess!

Are you running ventillation mate or co2? Maybe you could dial your fan speeds down and try up the temp that way

Also get the EC up a bit with a decent pk boost maybe? I'm Going to try H&G TopShooter next run... left it too late for this one.  It's meant to spark another layer of bud growth.

I'd think the low temps would slow down overall growth but would it really extend the flowering period??
