With the great CBD ripoff that is occurring in the bodgy tincture for desperates climate these days, I would wish to know how one can test, verify, understand whether your plant has high cbd.

You would need to run diagnostics every plant, to make sure you are not just growing ultra crappy dope...or at least low thc low cbd also....

Thin Layer Chromatography is really simple. It wont give you a % but a qualitative result so can be used as a visual ratio indicator.

SorryNici...but TLC is NOT simple for average punter let alone a sick person or family...also just gives a visual ratio not measure of content..in context of determining whether you are getting ripped off with your supposed high cbd products, seeds., etc...it is not suitable.

Maybe one would need to pay for test kits..but are they the same?

 

It is like the joke that is %thc scores, used all over the world, 22% this,31% that, driving billions of dollars, yet all us stoners and business idiots are so silly to ignore that these are ratios determined from analysis of the resins..not plant material...trichome location and density are extremely varied in cannabis, hence once fibre etc is discarded the whole measurement experiment is flawed...you could have 32% thc readings from a phenotype that has fuck all trichomes and hence is weak pot.
