Matti's First Outdoor Undercover Grow

Recommended Posts

Looking good there Mata, shame about that powdery mildew being everywhere sounds like a royal pain in the arse to deal with.

and at least you caught the bugs early and they didnt eat too much.

and the rosin looks uh interesting lol, i tried it once with my mrs's hair straighter, ended up the same as you with 9/10ths of fuck all and squashed buds, i just ended up chopping and smoking the flat buds anyway.

sigh, it's not over, the mo'fo's are showing up all over the place.

I refuse to use any bug killers, my best option atm is to cut the bad parts out and hope to get a few oz of smokeable buds

so much damage, from such a little 'piller

Feel for you, Matti. I know the pain all too well. The blighters smash me for one maybe two weeks a year. Found the only real option is to check on the girls 3 or 4 times a day (for the duration) and cut out the crap and salvage what you can like what you appear to be doing.

Hopefully you'll be rid of them soon. :good:

cheers Ozzy, my best grow ever but daym, I ain't in Queensland anymore

Thanks Indy, I remember so many people on OzS having the same issue...

Nice to be reassured I am doing what I need to do to save my smoke

only two weeks? I can do that

Guess it's time to get high and stare at my plants looking for brown spots

and just one week later... I am cutting my losses this grow is over

mother fucking caterpillars are winning have won the war

I've taken 1 and a half plants down, lost a full pound of wet buds so far (probably 4 or more oz dried)

I've seen a nice array of mo-fo-pillars - from small and dark to long and purple.

every top cola is gone and pretty much every other branch was full of mo-fo's

I now remember why I can't grow tomatoes here

Not to worry, planted a new Glue and  a new cheese too, they'll go into the attic/under 400 or 600w in a week or two

No photos, just too daym depressing  -

if you can picture it.... a large kitchen bin very full of infected/no-chance-I'd-smoke-them buds, and picture an old stoner screaming WHY... that'd be me

The unknown "indica" is about 3 weeks into flower -

With all the different issues I had with the Cheese and Glue plants it's nice to have a plant that has survived it all

-tho looks like I may have white flies and the weather is fucky (coastal weather with fog most mornings) powdery mildew is allover the garden... spraying tonight with neem

I wish I knew what strain this is (it was a freebie from Nirvana seeds, labeled unknown indica)

seems to be mostly Sativa (90%+) It is not Maui Wowie - the smell is not right for that

I had to bend a few stalks to keep them under 7feet
