Parabolic vs air cooled reflectors

Depending on the type of parabolic light reflector, some of them can use up a lot of vertical space within a grow area. If you're not restricted by height, parabolic's could be a good option. But if I was dealing with a standard height tent I'd be inclined to stick with a cooltube.

 

That said, If ventilation is good and you intend on running a 1000w MH/HPS, the old chinaman hat reflectors still rate well.
