See to me i think those putrid cnuts could use it in all sorts of manipulative ways, "oh old mates got some medical conditions, lets lock him up and withhold medications until he starts laggin on someone.

I believe denying prescribed medications could be seen as a breach of human rights and there'd be an almighty outcry if they tried this sort of shit.

But I can easily see insurers getting access and denying cover due to health history, they do that already but only if it's declared by the applicant. Even other govt agencies having access to such info is scary. There was reports last month of the coppers getting access to people's DNA records via Ancestry.com and that's not even a govt dept. Just imagine if it was govt controlled. Nothing would be sacred.

There is no real reason for its implementation apart from collecting massive amounts of data on citizens that it cant do with an "Australia Card"

"Better access to your medical records for you and doctors" Fuckin bullshit there is nothing getting in the way of getting medical records transferred bar the privacy act requiring the patient to sign a form.
