that does look a bit weird :devilred:

clones can be taken at anytime during a plants life but the later in flowering u leave it, the more chance they have of dying off, etc...

i read in a ed rosenthal book that if u intend on taking cutting during flowering that u should take twice as many cuttings as u need just to make sure u get decent ones :thumbdown would mess with the harvest doing that i think but if u want/must continue that strains life i would do it :thumbsup

u said the plants were like 3 and a half weeks old...is that how long since u took the cuttings or since they rooted and were placed in the system?

hey simo,

The later you take it the harder the clone and more time it takes to root.

That's been the most trouble i've had.. just getting the little bastards to grow a nice root system.

Best to chose a plant, pre-flower it and then clone of that if you have no mother.

There are plenty of methods of preflowers branches ect.. to determine sex out there on the net.

the mother sounds like a better idea.

Good luck..
