Hey guys, yer like im going to get mah light soon, had planned to get a 430w HID, but i see somemany ppl buying them, using them for 3 months, then selling them for 600w'ers.. do 600w'ers really require that much more attention? Is ventalation of the light mandatory/expensive? :P

 

any info appreciated, thx fellas B)

 

PS. large closet grow ( 3-4x more size then closet grow )

yea, I have a 600 and a 400. the 400 is used in veg and the 600 is used for flowering.

 

The 600 gets alot hotter than the 400 but like stonedas said its got a far better lumen rating and this means you dont need to get the light as close as you do with the 400.

 

IMO buy the 600.

600w is actually the prefered choice of most growers due to it being the best light as far as efficiancy is concerned and also the heat the 1000w lights put off make you keep the light that much further from your plant making it even less efficiant , If you want more lighting I sugest you double up on two 600 's or even 4 :peace:

 

If your choice is to definatly go for 1000w lights may I sugest you have a look at air cooling your shade
