Great plan, mine is similar to yours.

When it comes to mason jars, I picked a few 1000ml glass jars up from k Mart. $2 a pop and then put electrical tape around the thread to increase the air tightness (still not perfect though, but cheap) I then cut a hole in the lid and inserted the hygrometers into it and sealed it up with silicone. Here’s a pic

 

 

Can vouch for it just yet as it’s my first grow too and I haven’t done this before. But figured I’d let you know anyway

What is the simplest way to cure? From what I'm reading it sounds like expel excess gas a few times a day kinda like old home brew. Would those dehumidifier grains be any good to put in a jar while curing?

What dog said, takes a bit of practice, but it’s nowhere near as hard as those methods quoted

a week in a mcdonalds style brown paper bag, just enuf bud to cover the bottom, scrunch the top, jar up after that and open daily for a week, should only need those humid packs for very long term storage

Using a bit of lateral thinking here but would a fridge not set to cold work? It would still be air tight and able to reseal after gas is removed.

I aim to take about a month. One week hanging up, one week in boxes, one week in jars lid open, one week in jars burping as often as I can. Then boveda. I do a rough clean up after hanging, then get off all the sugar shake during the 4th week. Use glass and boveda to store.

Hey man I'm just commenting on this so as I can find it easy when I need to refer to it. Great info in here also has anyone ever used the paper bag method ???

Ps if you watch any of the greenhouse seed grow diarys on you tube they will explain their method. From memory they cure at about 10 degrees but don't quote me on that
