ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL equivalent in OZ?

Hey all,

 

I'm thinking of making my own batch of cannabis oil. I've extensively watched alot of videos on youtube on how to do it, especially Rick Simpsons video's.

 

Now I'm looking for a suitable solvent similar thats readily availble in and around Sydney. I've looked at Methylated spirits (which has ethanol in it and some other small additives to stop people from drinking it...) and i've come across ISOCOL (which has isopropyl alcohol, water , AND fragrance.) Given this, i think ISOCOL would be the more suitable pick as it's closest to the US equivalent. But my question is, is this is a safe option? since it isnt 100% alcohol and has fragrance added to it. Will the heating process remove the fragrance?

 

Does anyone know if this is a suitable option? If not, what other options are available for us Aussie blokes to use as a solvent.

Ring any hydroponics shops in your area . A few are stocking it now. Expect 45 - 50 dollars for five litres of ISO .

Isopropyl alcohol 100%, grain alcohol, butane bho, but not metho or isocol to many impurities, i get my iso at jaycar electronics 2litres for 26bucks from memory

Its a bit scary the first few times allan but if your carefull and have plenty of ventilation you be fine, i know this may seem very obvious but remember no flames or sparks, very very important

A lot of the hydroshops round perth sell 99% pure ethanol labelled as "oil extraction liquid" its pretty pricy though $140 for 5 liters, but makes very high quality oil.

You could also look into bubble bags, make yourself some bubblehash.... its just as good and you only use ice and water. I got a set of the all mesh ones they are awesome![emoji16]

Rs components, jaycar electronics or if you know a dentist they can get pure alcohol

As others have said. It’s out there. Ring around.

Just make sure it’s the good stuff, go for 100%

 

Results of leaf showed not worth it. Better as edible or bubble hash. But sugar leaf and bud, well results have been fantastic.......
