hi peacefrog :)

Something seems a bit out of wack after three weeks. Could you please let us know what your soil mix is - I can see perlite, but just wondering what else you have in there. Also, could you give a bit more info on how much and often you water and high your led is from the seedlings?

At this stage, seedlings don't need much water or any nutrients in soil. Other LED users would be more qualified to answer this one ... but I am guessing that a 300w Mars light is a lot of light for a seedling too.

hi mate, my advice is to start your seeds under a cfl fluro light and keep it on 24/7. What's your process for germination? I think that led your using, the color spectrum looks very reddish, which I'm sure is great for flowering plants but not ideal for seedlings or veg mode. You need a white/blue spectrum for seedlings and veg. Here's what mine looks like. post-62215-151981451141_thumb.jpg I'm running a few autos under my led and have a few regs under my cfl at the back. Hope this helps u out.

I have my fluro light about an inch above my humidity dome. If you have it too far away the seedlings will stretch like buggery, and end up limp and lanky. Wanna keep it as close as possible. And I use the opposite for the led have it faraway to start see how plants respond and then come down a couple inches at a time, led is about 26 inches away from top of canopy. Obviously different lights and outputs will determine how far you need to be.
