Harvest ready or not

Recommended Posts

100% that’s what I mean , u gotta learn what u like , sometimes I take them when only a few amber, don’t always want or need to couch locked all the time

I like to get that real head stone where u know u r smashed but not incapacitated, variety’s a good thing

I’ve had times when I left them too long and they weren’t as good as they could have been earlier

I never relied on brown hairs , overall bud structure, again this comes from experience knowing what u r looking at

I think you guys r relying on technology too much , you gotta learn when it’s ready, it will tell u, they r all different

If u keep relying on this , what will happen if if breaks or u loose it n can’t get 1 for a few weeks?

I know this sounds a bit harsh, but u if want to grow some good shit u gotta do the hard yards first

Experience is the best teacher, yeah I got 1 but I don’t rely on it , only had 4 wks , checked all my buds n they r just fine colour wise

Just my opinions

missed this one, dead right mate, i never use me loupe to decide when to pull them, but i do like it for other shit

and checking the buds, just to see what stage they where at, when i pulled them

nothing new about using a loupe anyway, was all the rage 30 years ago

i use the sun mainly, you can see them sparkling when there clear,

you can see the plant change colour, from clear to cloudy to amber,  if you stand 10 foot back and have a look

Dog I gotta tell , when you’ve crossed rivers and trampled through the bush for an hr loaded up with water n other supplies there is no prettier sight than plants ready to be pulled

You can smell them from a 100 yards , the anticipation is exciting, cutting them down because u can’t pull them out n taking home bags of buds , happy days

Yep, been there done that mate. Really hard Yakka during the bastard hot days, my mate and I

did it for years in the hills back of the Sunny Coast untill one year when it was all done and heading up there for the big pick, we had made the huge mistake of leaving some seeds on some buds and the f'ing Cockatoos had found them and feasted on our beautiful buds, every single bud was gone, all there was left was piles of chewed up buds in the ground, devestating it was, that was the last time I grew somewhere that I couldn't keep a close eye on things.

That just makes ya heart break!

We were just shattered mate, you folks that have done the hard yards tramping through the scrub carrying 20 litre drums of water in the heat know what I'm talking about, that was probably 25 years ago and still have nightmares about it.
