P, I use my Waeco for fishing, Someone that came out with me on a 45c day pulled out a chocolate milk 6 hours from the esky and said "That's a cold esky" i also use it to keep live bait fish kicking like mullet i catch them the night before and take them out the next morning the insulated esky works brilliantly, mine holds ice for over 10 hours being opened and closed all day long

Fired it all up and added ice to lower the temp, it’s holding very steady.

 

Set the ph and bumped to ec 1.1

 

It’s a 41l esky with 25l of nute and a load of bubbles. Connectors let me set my scrog. I’ll swivel lid to check levels and remove to help nute changes and root inspections

 

I’m pretty happy, let’s see how it goes

Is it raised slightly so you can drain from the eskys tap?

It’s raised to lift it off the ground,

Also find it easier to lift in and out if a bit higher.

 

The drain does look good for future fiddling as lifting it is pretty heavy. Bloody well built cooler

 

I look at water levels every night and change nute weekly, so easy access would be high on my list of future mods.

Thought I’d give it a good test today, 40 in the shed

 

As I left the cooler was 22, didn’t add ice, came home 12 hours later and it was 22.4

I use a $10 reject shop 60lt tub sprayed black... my ladies are going fine. That's not a cheap esky
