Thanks for posting this Itch u will go thru it i just skimmed over it for now, is this one of those long soil keeping things? i have no patients, I'm assuming a living soil u need to look after a tend to it every few days?

Mmmm something to learn you must

patience , important gardening tool to have in your quiver young grasshopper

over watering = lack of patience

harvest early = lack of  patience

jarring bud early = lack of patience

pot brownie ring an ambulance OD = lack of patience

better to have than not have ,  patience

2 of the best resources you have at your finger tips , compost & worm castings , both home made

both can be made with backyard waste , both can have there microorganisms multiplied & spread with water

both can be as in depth or as easy as you like, & it's or can be set & forget

90% of what a plant takes up as nutrients are directly related to microorganisms , consuming organic mater & each other

the first thing plants do is attract microorganisms to there root systems for this very reason , plants can feed & fend for themselves

to be honest i hear " i don't want to mix soils " cause allot of that bagged stuff would be close to 10 inputs anyway

that's cool you don't want to do that but with this system you mix soils once & constantly use it , meaning there are always roots

growing in the soil , so your planning for your one off soil mix is , always have plants or a plants roots growing in the soil , as long as you

kept roots growing in that pot , it wouldn't matter if a canna plant made it in there this year or next year or any year that pot is alive & cycling

nutrients for growth of whatever plant is put in there , the only other factor to remember is the Law Of Return = mulch mulch mulch

The Law of Return states that nutrients removed must be returned

in the quantities taken away, in order to maintain a balanced ecological

state and fertile soil.

each to there own bro

go with what you feel is right

I'd be getting them going in Coco Gaz, I love the speed of Coco.

I realise u know your hydro and well, Coco is like hydro as you know.

Get em running in Coco and then cut cover crop, transplant and mulch and watch em go.

If u get soil ready now, from seed your ladies will need at least a month , in Coco, then BAM!

Soil will be ready, will be a mature plant so should take it even if a tad hot? Give roots a bit of space with something as a buffer?

Let em get established then flip them bitches.

Just thinking outloud here.

Maybe amended Coco? So no Coco specific nutes? I'm sure that can be done?

Either way mate, if u want to go the no till, the start is the slowest but as itchyboo said, once she is up and running, the work thereafter is simple top dressing even between cycles.

I'd like to see you nail this mate....

Good things come to those who wait and all that.....
