Nah I'm a lover of anything fast mate, love the classic muscle cars xy gt's, hJ monaro, chargers, camaro's. All the old real cars. I do love the sound of a worked v8, but I've been in a few turbo vehicles that would scare the shit out of most people. Mate had a worked Vl turbo that was fucking nuts. But I've been in a fpv typhoon that was even more crazy. 10.5 down the quarter.

Imo, Holden and ford needed each other here in oz, they use to rely on the same suppliers for brakes and trims, electric working looms etc.

 

I did my apprenticeship as a toolmaker / machinist. It was all based around the Aussie car industry. Until the government let cheap rice burners flood the market and fuck everything up. Was sad for me to know no other young person will follow my foot steps in the industry. And the 500,000 jobs that went with it.

Including all the local suppliers.

But my man cave is kinda a shrine to Holden and ford because they have both shaped me to who I am today. A total Aussie bogan.

If I had the coin this would be my daily driver.

Yes its sad when ford and holden sold up shop, had a few mates working at the ford factory in geelong and the holden factory way back when it all started to fall to shit and crumble and now we dont make shit here any more and so many people are out of jobs just to save a few $$$ Its cheaper getting a guy getting paid sweet fk all over seas to make the ford and holdens and to import then here now rather then employ us aussies, what a load of shit

Nah I'm just a hick that lives a quiet life now. I'd never get away with it it's tempting thou. But the whole weed thing for me is shits and giggles I just do it for fun and to keep myself busy. It's only rec use for me. And plus I'm not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

 

I've got a good life, my kids love me think I'm cool and shit. The mrs is happy as long as I mow the lawn and let her ride the horsey.

yep it's a disgrace really. I don't think I've ever told anyone this. I drive a ford because I support the geelong footy club. There main sponsor is ford. I'm sure it's the longest running sponsorship in history.
