Gazza's Greenhouse

Recommended Posts

Hi & welcome,

I'm Gazza-308

Im one of the new kids here. Before I kick off, thanks to GQ, mirmac, serrated edge, & a few others for helping a newb out.

Really appreciate it guys cheers.

So this will be about outdoor growing in a greenhouse pro's & cons. I'm no expert grower but have been lucky enough to pick a few things up over the years. If I can pass some knowledge on & learn some more tricks myself then its win win.

Greenhouse specs: 6mx3m PE cover is green & non transparent. Great way to hide the ladies in plain sight.93b37930a0716bb3590672049975a832.png about $200 on eBay heaps of different sizes to choose from so put some thought into it.

i think main thing to think about is higher humidity & less air movement

not to much of a prob in veg but good air movement is always good anytime

if you run power out there for a box fan or 2

don't use a bright orange power cable lying in the open on the ground

easy to see from the air

could also look into light deprivation using a greenhouse

enables you to finish at the peak of summer with hot dry conditions

you start the plant flowering , not mother nature by blacking out the greenhouse

for 12hrs everyday , i use 8:30 to 8:30 , depending when you start you may

need a lill extra light / flurro if daylight hours at the time don't reach 8:30

yeah air movement is a must luckily for me I'm situated high on a hill about 500m above sea level. Green house has 6 x air vent flaps which I leave open 24 7 to make sure have clean air circulation. Would like to finish early but 12 hour work days won't allow it. I'm patient will let Mother Nature run her course. But yeah would love a quicker finish time.
