Best LED light for cupboard

Recommended Posts

Back to the point tho, sorry. just go to the website and they advertise the power draw and coverage. They exaggerate the coverage space a little, but if you aim for around 50w per square foot you should be good 2x 300 watts are better than 1x 600 watt because you can spread the light better.

You got around 4.5ft2 so if you go for 250w draw i think you should be set

Ok Gazza,  would really like to see a pound of a 250w led, any brand will do, any reflector

as far as i can see they are disco lights for the gullible, and that's about it

No serious grower would waste their time on them. in a few years maybe with some better tech they might get close to HPS

Only my opinion and i'm just a silly old tnuc living in the past, lol

This guy is highly regarded as a good LED grower on AFN name is Tang, Hydro Experts sell these lights they are "Apollo LED's" please tell me these videos are bull shit lol

Who said i was using the same LED's? However my LED's do work they just are not working for me... LED is not for everyone, I am sure i could pull off a nice grow if i worked out my problems under LED but i am over them for now i am over testing and farting around

CMH is the next journey surely i can't fuck that up too

but Pedro u asked for LED proof and i showed it i can also link you to Tang's diary's, Tang is strain tester for Dutch Passion you'll see his pictures up on there web site in the galleries

You seem to have lots of opinions, but that's all they are. And yeah, you are living in the past. You might have been right about 5 years ago. These lights are just going to get better and better.

Here's a commercial grow comparing LED to 1000w HPS. Many commercial grows use LEDs in the land where it is legal to grow. I can provide a few more links if you're interested.

And another commercial grow wasting their time with LEDs.

And yet another one.

Here toward the end of the video growmou5 compares par readings from his diy COB to Ceramic Metal Halide. I presume you have heard of them? I recon you'd get a pound off a CREE COB set up like the one here. From memory I  believe each COB is 36 watts but could be wrong.

Also as I said earlier, I have an old Mars 2. These are quite out of date in the LED world but it still beat my HPS using 50 watts less. Bigger yield, better penetration, better quality buds, less heat issues, no need to replace bulbs. A newer light would absolutely shit all over my old HPS.
