Something to think about next time round , try to get soil without the wood chips and bark in it

It will take a long time b4 it breaks down to get any real Benefits from it

Try to use something without slow release fertilisers as well

It's better to give your plants what they want when it needs it , you can also control the levels used

The wood chip and bark will just make it harder for the roots

Ok thanks for the advice! It was just only the best soil I could find in my small town. I think il have to just use a basic potting mixed with the perlite next time?
