Reduced sun for outdoor flower

Hi,

Is there any way to reduce the intensity of sunlight on a flowering plant to simulate spring? It only gets 12 hours of sun, but during the middle of the day I think it may be too intense.

Shade cloth but why would want to cut light, more light better growth...

It's the amount of hours that makes plants flower 12 and under of light or sunlight will stay in flower it won't reveg until 13.5+ sunlight. That will be next month in Australia. You still have time to finish flowering if half way through. I'm in the same boat have plants need a few good week to finish off. If you see foxtailing buds of new non serrated leaves coming out of the flowers harvest asap.

Also once you harvest leave a bit of foliage on the plant. It will reveg and your on again. If your growing a pot up size the pot with new soil and the way you go round two I've been doing this for years this way.

As said it the amount of hours of sun it guta that will send it back to veg not how intnce the sun is.

 

Keep it at 12 hours or less and it will finish flowering...

If its outdoors and flowering now its an auto .....spring isnt the natural flowering season... its autumn

That's not true I have 8 photo growing and I took clones in July and there in there final weeks of flowering. Then I'll leave a bit of foliage on the bottom and they will reveg as grow through to May.
