I prefer to get as much light intensity onto them as they can handle, from being a cracked seed, on wards. For example, I'd raise the seedlings under a 150w MH* for two to three weeks max until the started to show they were ready to go. Then get them straight under a 600w HPS Cooltube setup, and grow them out from there.

 

I've tried a couple of these low wattage grow setups before, but they've never produced the results I've been looking for. Each to their own though.

 

* 250w MH or similar would be a better option.

Cfl 130w 6000k are my favorite, lush green growth,compact node structure,I'll be going back to them next run,tried the t5s also but had better results with cfls
