potting mix

hi, im pretty new to this game so some help would be really appreciated. Ive got some silver haze seeds sitting in a jar lid in a dark closet in wet cotton wool, but as soon as they burts would it be ok to put them into potting mix? and for the first week keep them under a small bar light still in my closet? PM me if you want.

I would guess that you mean a fluorescent tube, yes it would be fine to start them off that way.

For a couple of lousy bucks more, try to get a 'premium' potting mix. You will have a higher chance of getting results closer to what you should.

 

Are the plants eventually to go outside? If so, don't bother with the light arrangement. The season is well enough established to get them straight into as much direct sunlight as possible.
