look into making an airlift brewer for teas , better way to aerate than bubble stones that can trap some funky stuff over time

def diy composting is the way to go , all about what you put in though

paper , cardboard in the worm farm will give you inferior castings

only a lill better than that is food scrapes believe it or not , food scraps

are 99% water , hard to make allot of castings out of mostly water

i agree with KISS method as long as it doesn't also mean simple & " Cheap "

all about your inputs , shit in = shit out

a few soil places to check out

dr greenthumb , organic gardening solutions , & another i can't think of the name right now

soil testing is too expensive here so find a mix that has had results or has been tested & had results

what you mix here won't be the same but will be close enough if you look for quality inputs

the above soil co's should have some info on there site , otherwise checkout buildasoil.com method

for Mycorrhizae fungi , look for glomus mosseae on the label , canna's fav fungi

here ya go mate , this is a no till soil mix

relies on feeding the soil via top dressing

Base soil mix:

1:1:1: CSPM (Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss) : Pumice/Lava rock : Compost - Malibus B/U is an excellent choice if it is available in your area.

Amended per cuF with:

1/2 - 1 cup Neem meal/cake

1/2 - 1 cup Kelp meal

1/2 - 1 cup Crab/Crustacean meal or oyster shell

1 cup MBP (Malted Barley Powder)

1/2 cup Gypsum (nice sulphur source)

4-6 cups Basalt

6-8 cups Biochar

***Some worms per container***

if you're lazy like me hit up organic gardening solutions. They're based in QLD and ship Australia wide (im pretty sure at least) all their products are completely organic and some of the best on the market in my opinion. Results I've gained from just using their premium no till mix with no fertilisers is just amazing. I plan to use their aloe and kelp ferment as a fertiliser for my next grow. The results people have been getting from using these two at the same time is just crazy. Simple and very high quality.
